1. About these terms
These terms apply to all passenger tickets sold by PT Pintas Samudra ("we", "us") for the ferry service between Batam Centre International Ferry Terminal (Batam, Indonesia) and Berjaya Waterfront Ferry Terminal, Stulang Laut (Johor Bahru, Malaysia). By buying a ticket, you agree to these terms.
2. Tickets
- Tickets can be bought via WhatsApp, online platforms and our counter at Batam Centre International Ferry Terminal.
- Tickets are available in Economy and Business class.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- An unused ticket stays open for 90 days and can be used for another sailing within that period, subject to seat availability.
3. Check-in
Please check in at least 2 hours before departure. Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure.
4. Travel documents
- Every passenger must carry a valid passport.
- Passengers are responsible for meeting the immigration and entry rules of Indonesia and Malaysia. We are not responsible if a passenger is refused boarding or entry because of missing or invalid documents.
5. Baggage
- Each passenger may bring up to 20 kg of baggage.
- Baggage above 20 kg is charged at the terminal.
6. Items not allowed on board
- Pets are not allowed.
- Durian is not allowed.
- All other items must follow Indonesian and Malaysian customs regulations.
7. Insurance
Passenger insurance is included in every ticket.
8. Schedule changes
Sailing times are shown in local time at the departure terminal. The schedule changes monthly, and extra sailings may be added in peak season. Sailings may be delayed, changed or cancelled because of weather, sea conditions, safety or operational reasons, or instructions from the authorities.
9. Safety and conduct
Our vessels are BKI classed and carry life jackets and life rafts, and our crew run regular safety drills in line with international safety standards. Passengers must follow crew instructions at all times.
